i really really really don't want to find a job. i mean, i do... because i don't want to be broke forever... but, i don't, because i LOVE having my days to do anything/everything i please.
this morning, the husband and i woke up bright and early... got dressed... and walked the four blocks to madison's little "mini" wednesday farmers market. i could have spent HOURS browsing through the two or three blocks of stands, but dave hurried me through... and we bought loads of fresh veggies. i'm now enjoying some fresh salsa, made entire from ingredients bought at the market today. i'm BEYOND exstatic for the actual farmers market on saturday. i fully intend to make it my new saturday routine... wake up --> farmers market. there's just something about all these "home grown" vegetables laid out in front of me... even things i don't normally like (example- beets) i feel compelled to buy and eat and love.
the rest of my day was spent getting the last of our things unpacked and organized, and i'm so happy with the way the apartment has come together. it already feels like home... and the cats seem to feel the same way, which of course, i'm so happy about! the in-laws came for dinner tonight, on the way home to chicago from their cabin, and i think they were pleasently surprised about how great the place looks, now that it's been cleaned up.
i've taken some pictures of the apartment to post... but, i seem to have misplaced my camera charger AND transfer cord. damnit! so- as soon as i find those... i'll get some pictures up!
i hope everyone had a great wednesday!

Sounds like you've settled in nicely. I love farmer's markets. I went to one last weekend where we bought the biggest cantelope I've ever seen. It was about ten pounds!
